Daniel Rodriguez earned the most notable win of his career Saturday when he beat Kevin Lee at UFC on ESPN 30.

Rodriguez (16-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) stepped up on short notice to score a unanimous decision victory over Lee (18-7 MMA, 11-7 UFC) in the welterweight matchup, which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Check below for the top Twitter reactions to Rodriguez’s win over Lee at UFC on ESPN 30.

David Michaud

Kevin Lee does look way bigger than he used to be

— David Michaud (@bulldawg_170) August 29, 2021

Luke Thomas

Great job by Kevin Lee to continue cutting the angle to chase down that takedown.

— Luke Thomas (@lthomasnews) August 29, 2021

Aaron Bronsteter

10-9 Lee, who thus far looks like he should have been a much bigger favourite.

— Aaron Bronsteter (@aaronbronsteter) August 29, 2021

Bloody Elbow

Rodriguez lands a hard shot to start round 2. Body kick from Rodriguez. And another. Lee with a right hand and a high kick. Low kick to right from Rodriguez. 1-2 from Rodriguez and another low kick. #UFCVegas35

David Michaud

I dont think Kevin Lee would have took down and held down Khabib lol

— David Michaud (@bulldawg_170) August 29, 2021

Belal Muhammad

Kevin needs to go back to orthodox

— Belal Muhammad (@bullyb170) August 29, 2021

Kevin Iole

DRod caught Lee with a huge shot that wobbled him with 19 seconds left in the second. Kevin lucky it was late in the round.

— Kevin Iole (@KevinI) August 29, 2021

Mike Perry

He ain’t do that to me

— Platinum Mike Perry (@PlatinumPerry) August 29, 2021

Belal Muhammad

This is a breaking point for Kevin if drod gets away

— Belal Muhammad (@bullyb170) August 29, 2021

Anton Tabuena

Lee might have emptied his tank with those takedowns. Lot of time remaining though.

— Anton Tabuena (@antontabuena) August 29, 2021

Chad Dundas

Kevin Lee needs the 1-6-5

— Chad Dundas (@chaddundas) August 29, 2021

John Hyon Ko

Rodriguez put in that work and showed maturity inside the cage on many levels. Biggest win of his career. #UFCVegas35

Mike Perry

I wanna see drod vs geoff 🤷🏼‍♂️😂✊🏻

— Platinum Mike Perry (@PlatinumPerry) August 29, 2021

Gary Goodridge

Charles Rosa

Great fight both guys fought there hearts out much respect 2 warriors! #UFCVegas35

— Charles Rosa (@CharlesRosaMMA) August 29, 2021

Boston Salmon

That was a scrap.

— Boston Salmon (@bostonboomboom) August 29, 2021

Caposa

Kevin Lee may need to go to Brave CF where they have an actual 165lb super-lightweight division

— caposa (@Grabaka_Hitman) August 29, 2021

Ben Fowlkes

That’s kind of a reassess-your-whole-situation loss for Kevin Lee.

— Ben Fowlkes (@benfowlkesMMA) August 29, 2021

Neil Magny

Nice work by Daniel, way to step up and make the most out of the opportunity 👏👏 #UFCVegas36

— Neil Magny (@NeilMagny) August 29, 2021

Aljamain Sterling

Fun scrap! Lee’s conditioning looked better but I think D-Rod fought well and boxed better w/Lee having moments. I still think a 15 lb jump in weight classes is a tough thing to do.

135 to 145 to 155- all 10 lb jumps.

15 lbs is A LOT of weight to make up for. #UFCVegas35

— Aljamain Sterling (@funkmasterMMA) August 29, 2021

Gilbert Burns

🤨 Top 5 right? We all saw 🤷🏾‍♂️

— GILBERT BURNS DURINHO (@GilbertDurinho) August 29, 2021

Mike Perry

If you were to ask what I want , a rematch comes to mind. New opponents are cool too. I’ve been training hard and my coach said we’re gonna go over who he wants me to call out but there is a couple people that come to mind I’ve already fought. Lost of fun options tho ! #JusWait
